Özet

1916. Fransa'nın Batı Cephesi'nde Büyük Savaş şiddetlenirken, Yorkshire, Ramsden'deki Koro Derneği askerlerinin çoğunu orduya kaptırmıştır. Koronun ilerlemeye kararlı hırslı komitesi, saflarını güçlendirmek için yerel genç erkekleri işe almaya karar verir. Ayrıca yeni bir koro şefi bulmaları gerekir ve şüphelerine rağmen en iyi seçenekleri yıllarca Almanya'da kaldıktan sonra geri dönen Dr. Henry Guthrie gibi görünmektedir. Askerlik evrakları gelmeye başladıkça, tüm topluluk hayatlarını mahveden bu kaosa en iyi yanıtın birlikte müzik yapmak olduğunu keşfeder.
